The Standwick 32 ch, MADI, Dante, MIDI)

For Hire

Playback rig

The Standwick is a playback and MIDI rig intended for off stage arena level deployment.

The Standwick features:

- 32 output channels of auto switching redundant playback over MADI, Dante or Analogue XLR
- 1 MIDI DIN input / output, 1 USB MIDI connection
- 4 Network MIDI ports with PoE for stage and control usage
- XLR, BNC, CAT6 audio connections
- Works worldwide on any voltage / frequency with interchangable power connections

The Standwick requires a 1x USB / 1x network connection per laptop and 1x power connection for the rack.

The Standwick can be hired with or without 2x Macbook Pro computers, MIDI controllers and expansion network cabling for stage MIDI use.

Where would I use this system?

The Standwick is an appropriate playback system for an act or show which requires a larger channel count with flexible output formats but still needs a portable solution. It has been used in the past as a B-rig for quick turnaround fly shows by festival headliners for example, it would be suitable for all levels of show where the playback rack lives offstage. The RME interfaces in use offer low-latency playback suitable for live instrument or effects plugin hosting which would also make this a possible choice for FOH engineers looking for a dual-laptop autoswitching plugin host rack.

Expansion options -

- The Link system can offer 16 channels of UAD processing whilst remaining in the digital realm if needed.
- The Wayne Tuney system can offer 2 channels of redundant UAD processing in the analogue domain.
- The Stage MIDI System can make use of the network MIDI ports to offer MIDI connectivity accross stage at 3+ different stations with the added benefit of PoE.
- The Tiny system can act as a redundant keys or instrument host if your show requires seperation between playback and live instrument hosting.
