The Air Fryer is a video playback / capture and LTC Timecode input rig intended for off stage club level and up deployment where both video playback and camera capture are required to a main and backup computer running Resolume Arena.
The Air Fryer features:
- Redundant switching output of Video over HDMI up to 4K DCI 60p from 2 laptops
- Input of HDMI or SDI
- LTC Timecode input to both computers
- LTC Reader and output
- 1 MIDI DIN I/O, 1 USB MIDI Input
- Network MIDI expansion ports
- Works worldwide on any voltage / frequency with interchangable IEC power connections
The Air Fryer requires 1x Thunderbolt 3 connections per laptop and 1x power connection.
The Air Fryer can be hired with or without 2x Macbook Pro computers.
Where would I use this system?
The Air Fryer is an appropriate video playback / capture system for a club sized act and upwards. It has been used in the past for an entire summer of mainstage festival video wall playback where the video system had to be flyable for multiple shows across the same weekend. It can accept control input from either MIDI, LTC or both.
